Heat pump integration made easy 
Uponor Smatrix AI doesn’t require complicated wiring to the heat pump due to cloud-to-cloud connection. The Uponor Smatrix Pulse 2 App guides the user step by step on how to activate the new feature. The direct integration of Uponor Smatrix AI via the Uponor Smatrix Pulse 2 App is available for the heat pump manufacturers Alpha Innotect, DAIKIN, and NIBE. For other heat pump brands, the integration can be done via Aidoo Pro Devices being directly connected to the heat pump (available for Spain, France, Italy, Germany, UK, Poland and Benelux). Support in choosing the correct Aidoo Pro device according to the heat pump is provided on the GF Building Flow Solutions website (Smatrix AI underfloor heating controls | Uponor). The Uponor Smatrix Pulse 2 App is compatible with both iOS and Android¹ and can be easily downloaded from the app stores.

The Uponor Smatrix AI solution utilizes AI to leverage real-time weather conditions and building-specific data to optimize the heat pump's supply temperature. Decreasing the supply water temperature in advance due to a forecast of an increasing outdoor temperature and solar radiation results in clear energy savings (at least 10 %), whilst maintaining an ideal indoor comfort temperature.
